Benefits of Membership
Membership in the Museum is a win-win proposition. Not only does your membership provide the Museum with much-needed support, but you also benefit, as described below. Because memberships are recorded on a calendar-year basis, when you join mid-year, your membership will automatically run until December 31 of the following year. For example, if you join in June of 2008, your membership runs from June 2008 through December 2009 another benefit!

Aviator’s Club Membership (ages 14–18), $5:
The Aviator’s Club is still in the formative stages, but please contact us if youâ€re interested, and weâ€ll keep you posted on developments. Aviatorâ€s Club Members must already be a Museum member. They may either be a Youth Member or a child of an adult holding any level of membership in the Museum.
The Aviatorâ€s Club is expected to meet once a month to work on building model airplanes. We plan to provide the first kit each year free, along with building supplies and assistance, which may include talks and / or visits from adult model builders willing to share their enthusiasm and expertise with us.
Members†models can also be worked on during regular Museum hours, although Museum staff may be busy with other visitors and unable to provide significant assistance during these times. Thereâ€s no limit to the number of models a member can build during the year, though additional kits after the first one will need to be purchased. Weâ€re hoping to work out a discount arrangement with a local supplier that will make this more affordable.
Along with the model building, of course, will be a substantial amount of “hangar flying” (socializing with fellow builders), and we also plan to make snacks available.
